I got my ipod for Christmas and my son was playing with it and locked it some how, I never actually set a password for it so I need to know how to get into my ipod and set one up.

Vajeta almost had it right. First, start iTunes and make sure it is up to date (Help > Check for Updates). Connect your ipod. Inside iTunes, click on your ipod listed under "Devices" along the left side of iTunes. This will display the Summary tab for your ipod. Click the Restore button on the right side of the window to reset your ipod to factory settings. Restoring your ipod will delete all data, including password and songs.

when you connect it to your pc and i toons comes up go to your i pod's summery and click reset and thit will wipe out all changes
