The Best Guitarist ever?

Question

I say Django Reinhardt, he pushed to the limit what a guitarist could do on a guitar, even with a pinky and ring finger that didnt work. Jimi Hendrix is ok, but not as good as Django

I know what you mean when you ask (ones we know of), but this question cannot get you a fair answer.
We most likely do not know of "the best guitarist ever", because he could be at home playing his heart out and none of us know about him, and may never know . This goes with singers, painters, etc.... ones who do not share their gift of awesome talent but instead keep it sacred, or within a certain circle. Think about it from this angle for a second. I'm going with Hendrix. He couldn't read music AND taught himself. He played a right handed guitar upside down as he used his left. And when he played, he BECAME his music. He sang with the guitar and moved a part of the soul that can only be touched by good music. Gives me shivers sometimes.

I would say Jimmy Page because I caught him in concert on two occasions and he picked the chords clean. It sounded as good as the albums.
