depends on whether one is color blind or not. for a normal eye,
it is YELLOW

I think it depends on the background and the lighting.
As I look out the window, I see a curb painted yellow, and it difinitelly stands out, and then there are a couple of green neon signs that stand out, but the trees, grass and everything else is not as obvious. In low lighting, the yellow is going to reflect more light back, in bright lighting, the yellow might get washed out and the green might present just the right contrast.

I suspect that depends on the background and the actual brightness or hue of the green or yellow in the first place. The eye picks up on contrasts.

For instance, pine green is easier to see against a white background than pale yellow.

green because scientificly speaking yellow is one of the lightest colors in the color cycle!
