Ice Cube, Today was a Good Day. It portrays the simple things that bring joy to a Compton Gangsta in a world where African Americans are subjected and persicuted for their pursuit of what white America takes for granted. Not getting hasseled by racist police, winning big at the dice game, hittin skins with the girl he had the hots for since high school, thats what constitutes a perfect day for this pimped out OG. The little things are what make life worth living and get used to look past this crumblng democracy of hyprocracy.

Like the Y/A Gestapo said, maybe phrase it as : What do YOU think is the greatest song ever written? You're still going to get a wide variety of tastes here. Welcome to the human race!
Personally:
Golden Slumber by The Beatles

Stairway to heaven, because of the beautiful guitar playing and the lyrics that really mean something. That solo is just...Perfection!
or Imagine, because of how it shows what the world would be like if there was no discrimination or differences. Which is how the world should be.
Take care x

Well, if I had to pick one song (which is a cruel thing : )) I would have to go with *Over The Rainbow* -- music by Harold Arlen and lyrics by E. H. Harburg . . .
I think this song will still be touching people's hearts and minds as long as there are people to listen to music.

See, just one, that's really difficult to answer. I would have to go with Bridge of Troubled Water I think, just beautiful and even the worst cover versions are still kind of great. Its timeless and has a meaning for everyone, that's why it gets my vote.
