I can go on and on... but I will settle for teachers not passing students who are not up to that current grade level, actually having a disagreement and everyone being be alive and go on with their day to day activities, showing respect and calling teachers Mr and Mrs, when asking for something saying excuse me instead of hey, being able to attend school without metal detectors...being able to actually be a kid

Prayer in Schools. In public buildings. Prayer in our personal lives and prayer with our family's
Most of the other answers given here would be a given if we come back to living by faith and trust in our Creator God the father.

If I'm addresing a stranger, I would like to be able, as I do, to call a man 'Sir', and a woman 'Ma'am', without being looked at like I am some kind of freak.

I was thinking more on the line of 2 parent families...but if you want just common courtesies...I'd say opening doors for women. I just love it when I encounter more "courtly" men...I'm especially charmed by the younger ones who have gone back to this courtesy---even for us older dames.

The GENTLEMEN!!!! I so wish that guys still always thought to open a girls door, bring her flowers, walk her to her door, make sure to talk appropriatly in front of her. You watch old movies and see how the girls got treated and it just makes me want that too!
