is excite truck a good game? how old r u cuz young people like arcade racing games better. what other games do you play that are good with good use of the wiimote and/ or nunchuck

Is Excite Truck a good game? Yes.

I own it for a couple of months and it is very fun, for me and for my kids. Of course is fun...if you like racers.

In brief:

Excite Truck's Good things:
Cool Trucks
Good graphics -for a Wii of course-.
Good balance for tasks completion. Some tracks are really easy and let you advance in the game, while the last tracks can be harder.
GREAT gameplay. The Wii Remote is used as a steering wheel. No need of Nunchuck here. Sensors are acurate enough to give you a good time. Even more accurate than the ones in Need for Speed Carbon.
It's easy to learn. You wife, your kids, your friends in a party, anyone can learn it in a few moments.
Racers are won with points and not only ending first. Points are given (besides for the place you end the race) for smashing trucks, drifts, jumps, spins, etc. That makes the game far much fun.
You can put for own music into the game with an SD Card.

Excite Truck's bad things:
No stoyline. Don't expect any kind of story. Run races, make points, unlock stuff. That's pretty much it. As many racers.
Original music is kind of annoying. Try using an SD Card and Presto!!! You solve this.
No online stuff....like almost every other Wii game yet.
Multiplayer is not strong. Of course you can play in Versus mode, but is not great. When the screen splits, you lose some background details.



Other good games with cool Wii Remote use:

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (best Wii game released so far).
Cooking Mama (learn to cook with your Wii-Mote).
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (you can be a doctor with your remote).
Elebits (as a gravity gun. Great physics, great game play).
Call of Duty 3 (if you like Shooters).
Wario Wave: Smooth Moves (come on! now you have more than a hundred different ways to use your Wii remote in a single game!).

I'm 19 and I really liked Excite Truck. I've only played it in the store, though I thought it was entertaining and fun. I also think it is interesting because the only goal is not to just be the first one to finish the race, you also have to get "stars" for hitting things and stuff. The graphics are more little kidish I think. (It leans more towards Mario Kart than Need for Speed) But overall, is a good game.
The only other game I've played on the Wii (besides Wii Sports, of course) is Zelda and it is AMAZING!

yes it is i like it its kind of like excite bike from the first nentendo system. i am 26. the spongbob game is pretty good. maden 07 is good and Rampage: Total Destruction. thats all i have played so far.
