I need some help in my essay (Advertising to youth)?

Thesis: People should be concerned about the advertising their children are exposed to for three reasons: some advertising creates materialistic, illegal, and health behaviors.

Can anyone please give me supporting point for health behaviors?? or for the other reasons.

If you have something different about the three reason please tell me.

I would say that a point for health behaviors would be body image. Many teenage girls read magazines, see advertisements in which thin models are shown and they feel that they need to be like them. This could result in that girl dieting, but most of the time they do not do it in a healthy manner.

How about the fact that tv commercials are all about fast food? That encourages youth to make unhealthy choices. Also, fast food is all over billboards.

Same goes for smoking, alcohol, etc.
