1. Pull out all the troops from Iraq. That was a big mistake. Making twice the mistake doesn't correct it. The Iraqis will manage themselves, somehow. Apologize to the Iraqis and American people for the big mess, and pay for damages and lives lost, and send UN troops to keep balance in the region.
2. Change foreign policy. Diplomatic relations must be improved. Stop acting like a bully. Initiate constructive engagements.
3. Cnange Social Security and Medicare.. this is a big mess. The country and the people simply cannot afford it. Let the experts handle this.
4. Remove Federal taxation. Only states and cities can tax.
5. Create gold and silver backed currency (for stability).
6. Close down the private conglomerate Federal Reserve Banking system.. and start using the US Mint to print US Notes instead of Federal Reserve Notes.. This will save the American people billions of dollars that we pay to the Fed in taxes. (I'll probably get shot for doing this, but it'll be worth it.)

Do away with the right and left wings. Go back to the fundamentals our forefathers used when creating the Constitution. Stop adding laws...enforce the ones already there. Keep religion and politics seperate...the middle east should be a wake-up call for all right wingers.
Our forefathers wanted people to have a choice, and a voice. These are the two basic fundamentals our country was built upon. There are no ifs and or buts to the constition. It was very plainly written and it has become evident that our country is being guided less and less by the people, and more by capital America.

I would start out with changing the tax system and have a flat rate tax of 15% across the board. I would then have a universal health plan where every American will be covered by medical an dental insurance. I would also in crease our troop level in every branch. I would also make it where you serve our country for 15 years or more than you will receive the benefits you deserve. The list goes on but that is a start.

Make a set deadline for troop withdrawel, to get the Iraqis to get their butts in gear. Set up a privatized social security system. Improve the education level of this country's kids with more emphasis on phonetics, reading, spelling, and penmanship.
among other things

First thing I'd work on is keeping knuckleheads like me and Dubya from becoming President.
The biggest problem with Dubya, Rummy, and Cheney is they don't know what they don't know. As it's been said of them many times in the last 6 years. They are never troubled by self doubt.

First I would get rid of all this PC crap....We have to be able to get things done without worring what intrest group its going to piss off. I think that the one of the main reasons are politicians are afraid to take a stand on anything is because some special intrest group will twist and turn that stand into a PC nightmare.....
That is the only thing I can really say....without knowing what the gov. really knows it hard to say we would do anything....the information we have is so limited that we really can't say we would do anything.
