Will we reach a point where there is no original music left?

There are a few questions in life like this. Will we run out of music, will we run out of movie ideas, car designs, computer upgrades, video game ideas and other things. In my opinion, we will run out, music is starting to get repetitive, but not noticeably. Computers are getting faster and faster and faster. More games are being made. Every year new cars are released. Movies are constantly being made. It makes sense that at some point in time everything will be recycled, like old movie plotlines, remakes of old movies to include the technology we have today, maybe some new instruments in the future for music. We will just have to see.

I hope we never do, for me I think that might be the day the music dies.....I really don't think there will be a time when original music runs out because it's just one of those things that always changes, and I love that :)

I doubt it. Sometimes I wonder if we'll run out of "Good" music!" But that's just personal taste. Alot of the great songs started with just a couple of friends jamming in the garage. I don't think that will ever cease. It's human to want to acheive fame and fortune, so there will always be a struggle for greatness.

Never. Music is a universal language that has been used since the beginning of time, do you think it's going to stop now? In the future?
People use music to have fun, to communicate...

if you think about it, music just keeps recycling. We take old songs and make it more modern. Turn them into hip hop or techno songs. I dont think it will ever stop.

I don't think so. There are many innovative artists out there, although you won't find them by just sticking to what mainstream media provides.
