Okay, I already posted a question about cocoa beach florida and said that we had decided on where to go. But I thought if we went to Orlando Florida and went to the epcot center and some of their other attractions then we could also take a 45 minute drive to the ocean. But I'm not so sure my husband thinks thats a good idea.he doesn't want to drive (not knowing how to get anywhere) I need to hear some opinions to help us make a decision. We want to see the beach but also, we want to go to have something exciting to do. What is there to do in cancun other than sitting on the beach? That's awesome to be able to sit on the beach, but we don't want to only do that. thanks

Both places are pretty nice, but I would prefer to go to Florida. Florida is much more developed than Cancun. Florida may have more places to visit than in Cancun. I do think Cancun is nice place but, I personally think that Some risks may lie in the country of Mexico.

I live here in Florida. Epcot and Disney are so overrated, crowded and expensive. Don't go to Cancun or beaches here in Florida during spring break time. Both are Springbreaker's destinations. I would take a cruise. That would be your best bet. I would probably go to Mexico, but avoid Cancun during spring break.

Cancun = scuba diving. If you dive at all, or ever wanted to, cancun is it. There are schools of beautiful tropical colored fish the size of a gymnasium and you swim right into them and they don't care. You can touch 50 of them at a time. And coral, and colorful undersea fans and stuff. Otherwise, cancun is kinda dull - you drink and eat and hang out in your room.
Orlando, don't be worried about driving. It's made for Chinese tourists, ffs. There are signs 40 feet across saying "this way to Daytona beach" and like that.
If you don't dive, I'd vote for Orlando. It is modern and interesting with some really amazing things at the Disney complexes.

Playa del carmen
It's great and you are only 30 minutes to Cancun for night life party but the rest of the time it is quiet

Cancun Mexico would be a good choice! I would have to agree with your husband. Driving around in a place you are not familiar with could get you guys lost. Either trip would be fun though!

In Cancun are a bunch of night clubs like Cocobongo and Hard Rock.
You also can buy a pass to Xcaret where your can swim whit dolphins, see and authentic “juego de pelota” (ball game), a night show and many other activities like swimming in a underground river and a underwater walk, I truly recommend you go to Xcaret XD!!

depending on what time u r going i'd say avoid Cancun.. especially if you want to just relax... starting end of next month thru march its spring break and cancun is INSANE, trust me i've been there b4.. i'd go with florida.. try south beach its beautiful and there is so much to do... i've been there also... have fun!
