My sister had breast cancer just over a year ago she had her left breast removed and has had chemo and radiotherapy and is now taking a pill for next 5 years, she told us she has been having lower back pains for last 6 weeks some days its bad some days its not so bad, she is worried it may be bone cancer, can this be the case?

doubtful, but have her talk to her doctor to rule it out.

Yes, unfortunately it could be, my mother in law thought she just had lower back pain for months, when we finally talked her into going to the doctor, it was cancer and it had already spread from her lungs into her spine (causing the back pain), and into her brain, we lost her to the cancer a few short months after. Please get your sister to go back to the doctor. It is better to be safe than sorry, you can't afford to wait too long especially with her history of cancer. I don't mean to scare you, but I know how it is to lose someone to this awful disease, and I would never want anyone to suffer this pain. Love and Blessings to you and your family. Good Luck!!!

Yes, it could be cancer. Mine was. I now have stage IV breast cancer, but thankfully it has only spread to the bones, not to any other organs. Have her see her oncologist now!

could it be a cancer cells deposit i n the spine from the breast cancer. it can also be due to sideeffects of the medicines she is taking. consult ur doctor.
