This is the situation I broke up with my ex for one things weren't working out and to be with my best friend who is currently my boyfriend. At the time of the break up my ex was devastated wanted us to try to work it out but i thought it would be better to just end it i really didnt see us going anywhere and i figured it would be best for me to end it than to cheat on him. So he moved out, however he found out that i was with my friend now who he also knew. Which now he is pissed as hell... the main issue is that my friend is ALOT younger than my ex and me. He's 9 yrs younger than me...Now both his parents know about us and approve of our relationship 100%. However my ex is threating to go to the police and file a report for statutory rape. He really doesnt have any proof besides some letters he found and kept that my boyfriend wrote me but they dont have my name or my boyfriends name. My boyfriends mom tells me not to worry because he cant prove anything. But ofcourse I am.

Dont' be worried. He only has letters which have no names. He could've easily forged those himself. And if he did the most the police would probably do is go ask the boys parents and i'm sure his parents would lie or somthing for you. As long as your both not obvious about how large the age difference is your fine. If you are just make sure you don't make out in public. Really though don't worry. Your ex has nothing on you. And him being the jealous ex boyfriend doesn't help him at all.

It would have helped if you would have given us the ages..If your new boyfriend is under age then yes your EX can get you in trouble and so could his parents. If you are having a relationship with someone that is under age it is called CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELEQUANCE OF A MINOR.and both you & your boyfriends parents could get in trouble.

i guess it depends mainly if its legal or not.. maybe just to lift the worry off of your mind find out what the legal age is in whereever you live..
