Trying to pick an oscar-nominated movie to go see. I'm sort of interested in The Departed because everyone says it's so groundbreaking, but I'm not that into mob movies. But is there a chance I could like it anyway? Is the story all that deep?
Or should I see Blood Diamond instead? or The Queen?
For those who've seen both Departed and Diamond, which is more gory?

The Departed you wll love. Mob movies or not, the acting is spectacular and you will really like it. The plot is mindboggling as well. Blood Diamond was really good too, but The Departed was 5Xs better.

out of those three i only saw the departed anf it was SOOOO good!
i;m not that into mob movies either though,
no godfather for me!!!!
but i wanted to see blood diamond but they don't show that all over the place you know, they don't show the queen every where either, it sucks cause i would have seen them if i could have.

I think you will. I dislike those type movies also, but I loved the Departed.
