I am running windows 98, i have tried all i can but cant seem to correct the problem,is there a simple procedure to bring the pc back to full working order.

If your pc will only boot up in safe mode the chances are that some files are missing or corrupt so windows cannot boot up correctly, the best option is boot it up into safe mode save all your files/documents that you need and do a full reinstall. Sorry there is no quick fix

If you have not restarted the computer Do so now, Try flashing the BIOS or even better do a fresh install. IF you have files on the computer, simply install the hard drive onto another computer and get that info out and proceed with ur install.

To take it out of safe mode (if u meen lokdown) jus shut it down amd turn it bak on. if u meen safe mode on ure internet check on yahoo and it will say somewhere " safe search is ON ", jus click on that and turn it off.

i am not entirely sure..but to go to safe mode one has to press F8 during boot up.. so i presume to go back to normal boot press F8 as well to get the menu which u can chose which type of boot up u want..

rboot ur pc and press F8 while BIOS is booting
