Ooh, that's a good question. It's hard to anwer without knowing what's in your area. I've been in the field for close to 10 years. I went to a basic state college. They didn't have a very good program at the time for design. But I got the basics. I found you're really going to learn the bulk of it from job experience. But having a great portfolio is important. So check into colleges or schools in the area. Make sure they give you assignments designing different projects to build your profolio. Go after internships too while in school. Any experience will help. Make sure they offer web design education too. That'll open doors. Good luck.
