I just love their music. They are almost all gone. I'd love to see a revival of this music. Anyone?

Can't soul music be what stirs a persons' heart, mind and body? Can't all types of music have soul?

The Highwaymen....Is that a group or the total legends that were once totally awsome and still are to those who knew them? The real Highwaymen consisted of Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Walon Jennings... and many more legends of my time. They were not soul singers, but singers of the soul. Totally awsome bunch of writters, others include Johnny Cash, Eddie Rabbit, David Allen Coe, (female) Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline. The list goes on, and on, and on.....

The Highwaymen were a group of country singers, not soul music. They were really good.

If your talkin bout the group with Cash, Jennings, Kristopherson, Nelson, and others at times then I would say no. Cash passed away and from what I understand Jennings and Kristopherson arent interested. Willie Nelson has his own thing going and he is always in court, haha.
