A lot of gangs in Chicago. I say New York City even though I hate it because I lived there for 10 years. There's all kinds of people from different ethnic backgrounds here in New York. No interesting sights in my opinion -.- a lot of museums. People are cool, but it can be hard fitting in with them if you aint' got style. Have fun looking for f*ckin apartment! There are a lot of big celebrations in New York on 4th of July and New Years. My favorite thing about New York is that you can get anywhere you want with the train for 2 bucks! I've never been to Chicago, but I'm sure it's a good place. The reason why I said New York was because there are gangs here, but none of em' started here. Chicago has every gang (I don't f*cks with gangs).

Ever thought about the fact why there are so many injuries and deaths caused by guns in the US? That's because people think that guns are a necessity to life and would give children handgun classes if possible.
NO!! Guns should not be allowed into the hands of anyone under the age of 18, nor should they be made interested in the topic of weapons of any sort. Teach children how to solve their problems in a civilised, non-violent manner by TALKING to one another and HELPING one another. And guns should be severly restricted to those over the age of 18 who pass stringent tests to make sure that they will be responsible gun owners. Teachers, considering all their stress in their lives, I don't think are those people. Imagine a kid is a little hyperactive, the teacher is a nervous wreck and then grabs their gun and shoots the kid.
So the answer is no.

No. Guns are the problem not the solution. If a child need to carry a gun to school it would have to be to protect himself from others who also carry a gun. Maybe what they should do is to have some kind of security clearence like at the airport and such, to check all students as they enter the bldg to make sure that they are not carrying any kind of weapon. Besides a elem. school kid should not even know how to use a gun, regardless of what city they live in.

Why not? Respecting and knowing fire-arms forces Americans to be accountable for their actions. Now they can't say they weren't told it was bad to use a gun violently without self-defense in mind. Moreso, the right to bear arms comes with a great responsibility but it is a right nonetheless that Americans must cherish and observe.

That would probably solve a lot of the problems associated with children carrying firearms. I would possibly push for some new legislature that would enable children to obtain firearms at little or no cost to the parents. Perhaps it would be named the "No child left unarmed" act. This way quality firearms could be provided for lower income families and illegal immigrants.

No. There are enough children running around with guns.
We need to find ways to take firearms out of the hands of children, not put them into the hands of children.
I'm all for a person's right to bear arms, but children do not need guns!

Oh yeah, that's a GREAT idea *rolls eyes*. Seriously though, even one upset kid could cause tragedy with one of those things in a school.

Absolutely not...the kids could go crazy and shoot kis they don't like....would not be good at all. Schools should not be a violent place...needs to be safe for them.
