This is the first time that I've ever heard that working hard, planing, making a good life for yourself and your family is living in a fantasy world.
No, I don't think America is a fantasy world. America is a success world. We have what the people of the poorer countries have, but are unwilling to work toward the same.
Many of the African countries scream poverty and hunger, but look at the number of kids everywhere.
The Mexicans are sneaking out of their own country . Instead of following America's lead. Back in the Colonial days things were very tough in America. The people didn't abandon the country. They stayed and worked to make it better. What's wrong with the Mexicans ?

They don't live in a fantasy world, but you have a point - they take everything for granted (as does everyone at large in the Western world), and would probably die in days if they had to go through what much of the Third World does on a daily basis.

No, this is certainly no fantasy world. Many Americans do have to bite, scratch and claw their way thorugh life. Look around you. You can see what I'm saying everywhere in the US.

To each his own. There are so many different kinds of people in the states. They come from all over the world. The biters and the scratchers that were tired of biting and scratching. They come here for relief...

Yes, but only because so many of them still think Bush is the best thing that happened to the US since sliced bread. The smart people know this is far from the truth. Yes, I am from Texas and no I do not support Bush!

Yes with our genuine trust in the once great US govt that has bowed to drugs&business. Why fight in Iraq, with bi-partisan open-borders US has 1200 terorists groups in over 40 states with weapons included in the package. What's the insane point here?
