I know that there are many responses to beauty, but it seems the media thinks beauty is tall and anoreic looking and in so doing, is it affecting the way we look at our self. It seems that the rage is cosmetic surgery and starving?

I agree with you! But it's sad because the girls don't see these stars without makeup. They don't look as good as you think. They probably look like me and you...average. So I htink if the young girls keep that in mind they should have a more realisitc view on this topic

No becuase I think its a great think. And actually i think that we do go backwards, since now america teaches kids not to care, and then we have 300 pound teenagers eating mcdonlads, thats just wrong and discusting. If we didn't have ppl who don't care about their looks and go outside in pajamas, or never heard about hill, also ppl over like 180 pounds, then we would have a perfect beutiful environment.

No, I think America took a giant leap this year forward with models being too thin...just this morning on the Today Show they were talking about Tyra Banks and her new look she is much more voluptuous, and far from obese
