I don't think that they are compatible. Cancer wants to have a family and children but Sags are so free and independent, they do not commit so easily. Recently I read in an astrology for beginners book that Sag women are not so fond of keeping a household. They hate washing the dishes or making the beds.
If this is true does it sound compatible to you???? :)

Not at all. As friends maybe for a little while (have had a few in the past) but they get so annoying after a while (I'm a Saggo girl) :-) For romance it won't last that's for sure. Cancer is too insecure and 'clingy' and 'mothering' while Sagittarius is too free-spirited who can't take those characteristics even from their mother let alone from their man.

Look at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and tell me are they compatible I say yes since he's a Cancer and she's a Sagittarius.

I am a sag and I can tell you by experience, me and a cancer did not work out very well @ all.
According to a book I have, Sags are too free spirited, compared to the clingy needy cancer, who is more of a homebody compared to the sag.

not sure but I"m amdly in love with a Cancer and I'm a Capricorn buth he keeps playing hard to get. He's harder than any man I've wanted to date to figure out can't figure him out
