Each government type has advantages and disadvantages.
Dictatorship - one person ins in complete control which means that things get done quickly, the problem is that that one person does hold all of the cards and his decisions are final.
Communism - The government tells everyone what to do, when to do it and how to do it. This as for advantage to avoid the problems of classes and insures that everyone has the same thing (which is usually not of the highest quality)
Federalism - The population is represented by a few, voices are heard and resources are more adequately distributed - the problem is that the process is slow and is wide open to corruption.
Depending on the country, on the social and economical status, one government may do better than another on both the short and long-run.

A Constitutional Republic
Which means we elect citizens to represent us in government (Republic), and that government can only act according to the powers given it by the (Constitution). All other powers go to the States of people.
Which is what the US has or is suppose to have. We are now more like a Democratic Socialist Republic with the Constitution used only when it is politically correct.

Democracy is not perfect form of government by any means but the alternatives are no better either. There is always this thinking that our government will be as good or as bad as the people represent it. Maybe in time people will realize that the best among us should represent us or we have no better future.

According to John Locke, government represents a social contract between the people and their rulers. Without government, we live in a state of complete freedom and without restriction, but this can lead to anarchy. With a government, people come together and sacrifice certain freedoms in exchange for protection of life, liberty and property.
What this means is that government is by consent of the people, and whatever a certain group of people freely consent to is the best form of government. That can be any form of government as long as it is with the consent of the governed. Read John Locke's Second Treatise on Government.

That depends on your personal situation. (your kind of business, race, income etc.)
But in general: a democracy.
If it is reigned by federal authorities or a central government depends on the size (and history) of the state.
France for example is centralistic republic (hope my translation is correct), since 1789 and even before all mayor decision are made in Paris.
In the U.S. a lot of laws are made by the federal states ever since.
you find good examples on government form on wikipedia

Good luck with your project.

Communism is the best, because it wouldn't be like now in "Free" countries, have 90% of people starving to death, and 10% driving Ferraris, this way, everyone gets a normal standard of living

Democracy is the worst form of government, save for every other form of government.

First... Let me ask you a question.
Who makes up "The Government"?
Are there machines who operates it?
or maybe "The People"?
We choose who are placed in office. Therefore ... We must make up the Government?
I'd rather have what we have here than what other countries have. It might not be "The Best"... But ... It's a Damn site better than others.

One that listens to the people who elected them and who serves the best interests of those people. One in which the people have a say in electing public officials. I guess I am describing a representative democracy such as we have in the United States, even with all of its flaws.
