Let see now... they're much slower than me (or perhaps like zombies from ROMERO movies.... They're quite fast and mobile!! I'm so dead then....), but their bite are really fatal. Should I try to get through their surroundings and run away, or fight hand-to-hand and prepare for the worst? Remember, they're EVERYWHERE!!

PS: If I walk trough cemetery at midnight and I see the dead rises from every grave... what should I do? Run away and remind everyone? Shouldn't they think I'm out of my mind here? I don't have any weapon to possess there....

Ok, forget the "fast and agile" zombie - in real life it wouldn't happen. Even assuming the dead could reanimate, their bodies are suffering decay and decomposition of all tissue systems, including musculature, neural, and supportive skeletal. They will be slow moving, unless they are very recently dead and have just come out of rigor mortis. Without weapons your best bet is to start moving, and change directions often, in a zig-zag fashion, to keep them from surrounding you. Alone in a cemetery at night, your most available weapons would be a makeshift quarterstaff from a tree branch or a long handle from a gravedigger's shovel, if one is around. At this point do not try to fight, simply concentrate on getting away from the graveyard. Once away you first need a safe haven, food, water, and weapons. Find a house or building with an attic or second floor where you can destroy the stairs. Due to the decomposition zombies don't climb very well at all. Once you have a safe place to rest, find weapons. Guns are ok, but a sharp sword is better, but remember one thing - never aim for the head - your sword may become lodged in the skull and other zombies will grab you while you are trying to free it. Decapitation works better - the sword can easily slice thru the soft tissue of the neck and sever the spinal cord, which removes the head from the body. The head may still be animate and growling, but so what? Without the head/brain the body collapses in a mass of inert flesh and bone. If you can find or make it, armor is a must. It prevents the claw/claw/bite attack of the zombies, and allows you to shrug off more punishing blows in the event one retains enough intelligence to pick up a makeshift weapon such as a hammer or stick. Lastly, remember that zombies are mindless, animalistic, reanimated corpses. They do not have "leaders", do not organize, and cannot learn from situations except in the most rudimentary fashion. Most zombies tend to dessicate, or suffer a severe loss of moisture from their tissues, and are therefore more susceptible to fire, but being mindless have no fear of such. If you are separated from them by a wall of flame they are likely to try to walk thru it anyway. They'll still burn, but they'll try. Stay on your toes, do not get surrounded, and keep moving - you'll be alright. Just don't try to use a tombstone as a weapon - concrete is too heavy to effectively wield - you'll just cripple yourself when you strain a muscle or give yourself a hernia.

I’m not gonna lie to you. In that situation, you're pretty much dead.

First off, zombies don't rise from the grave. That happens only in zombie movies and video games, and they should not be used as a guide for survival. They are all works of fiction. Some movies are loosely based on actual zombie attacks, but they’ve been dressed up for entertainment purposes and do not depict the true zombie menace. But I digress.

If you’re cornered by zombies, you have no weapons, and there are no makeshift weapons available, the only thing you can do is to charge the hoard. And pray. Look for what seems to be the weakest part of the mob and do your best to knock them away. Hopefully, the zombies won’t be able to move fast enough to grab you. From there, try to find a place of safety.

In the situation you’ve given, you chances for survival are slim to none. And even with my advice they’re still pretty bad.

The best advice I could give you would be to get the "Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks, if you haven’t already. It can help you avoid that situation.

lol I like photogrl's answer! Resident Evil friggin ROCKS! Anyways, sadly this type of question has been brought up in my group of friends cause one of them is a filmmaker & loves Resident Evil & other zombie films. Basically just find what you can, use it as a weapon, start trying to kick some @$$ (like photogrl suggested) & break some necks!! A person really can break a neck with enough force.......

P.S. get that book Mei-Lin suggested!! A friend of mine has that & I flipped through it. It's actually pretty interesting!!!

I would run into a near bye building. Hopefully it might have a weapon (Aka Sawed Off Shotgun). Oh and beat the zombies with a tomb stone.

RUN AWAY!!! Though if they are zombies, aged bodies that time has corrupted and made weak it might be a better to take a whack at them for they will be brittle the problem is its hard to beat up on something that has no vital points.

I know that the Inferi are scared of flames, so you should always have a torch and some matches with you at all times. That way you can see where you're running, and kill fome too!

First of all, I would find this mystical book called the Yellow Pages. I would then flip to section under "Mental Health". Find the hospital nearest you, and check yourself in. You can then embark on the adventure of getting right in the head. Have fun!!
