Her own reputation was no better. She'll be besmirched for her own corrupt and scandalous activities.

I'm not sure what "besmirched" means, but I believe it probably means will Hillary Rodham Clinton be hurt by President Clinton's support during her presidential campaign. Such a notion is incorrect. If we took a poll of Americans, the majority of them (70% or so) would take Bill Clinton back as president, if it meant replacing George W. Bush.

As for Senator Clinton, she will benefit from the gravity her husband has in the realm of fund raising. Al Gore was in error when he did not more greatly utilize Bill Clinton during his 2000 presidential campaign. Hillary will not make the same mistake.

In the final assessment, Bill Clinton is an asset for any Democratic candidate.

They are surely going to try, but what else can they do but rehash everything they made up in the first place? We have heard everything we wanted to hear, and way, way more already. And Hillary isn't Kerry, who waited six weeks before answering the Swift Boat chargers, that dummy thought the American people were smarter than to believe that horsepuckey. But Hillary will come out with a response right away as she did with the nonsense about Obama going to a Muslim school when he was six. If you burn the press too many times with that stuff, they will stop printing it and it will only be seen in the hate blogs by people who already read them and hate her in the first place.

Nope. There are people that hate Bill, and people that love Bill. His approval rating today is still over 50%. Wouldn't Bush love to have that.
