Vaseline is actually used in hospitals for dressings on wounds. It's totally safe to put up your nose when it's bleeding and will help the scratch or crack that's causing the bleeding. It will also soothe the mucous membranes and may help cut down on nosebleeds.

If you do put it up your nose, it won't usually end up in your lungs. The body heat will make it melt and any excess will end up going down the back of your throat and into your stomach. It's harmless if that happens (remember, we also use it on our lips when they're chapped because it's safe to ingest.) You also don't need to wash it out. It will absorb all by itself and the mucosa will take away any excess.

You can do it; you did. I wouldn't want vaseline down my nose unless it was after the bleeding stopped. What made it bleed? Was it just a normal nose bleed? Did somebody hit you?
You can stop a normal nose bleed, usually by pinching the end of your nose to put some pressure on it.

You can wash it out with some saline water. Squirt it in gently and blow it out gently through your nose. If you don't have any; saline water can be bought at Walmart or some drug stores, maybe some grocery stores.

Take care of yourself.

If you first washed the blood out and put pressure on it, so it'll stop bleeding, then go and put vaseline in your nose... that might be a bit cleaner, and easier to tend too... Otherwise, no vaseline wont hurt, to put it in there anyway.... Vaseline, is a "Wonderful" organic, type of way to get rid of small abrasions, dry skin, chapped lips...... caluses, on our feet.... you name it, its a "Wonder Ointment!!" At its purest form, so your safe!!" Dip away!! I'd use a cutip, it might be a bit easier, however..... Smile!!!

No I can not and will not put vaseline in your nose when it bleeds!

I'm not really sure if you should put it in your nose, check the warning labels on the bottle/tub.

It will help if your bleeding is due to a dry nose. I would also like to state that you can put it in your own nose. That is if you are really asking if I would put it in your nose.lol :)

I don't have any clue why you would do that..... Either use a tampon depending on how big ur snout is or just shove toilet paper in it .....
