if i want to find the temperature of outside so i just touch the window or go outside

if i want to find the temperature of a person the then i put my hand on that person's forehead {palm facing upwards}

if i want to find the temperature of tea or coffee so i touch the container containing that

walking outside usually works sometimes looking too, seeing snow usually means, you guessed it it is cold.

your body temperature will either spike and make ya sweat like fool if its hot
and if its cold your temperature will dive downward and you will look all pastey white and cold with goosebumps and etc.

i call time and temperature...not only do they tell you how cold or hot it is but they give you the correct time
