If you truly believe this (about our society , and I assume you mean the U.S.) - I suggest that you travel abroad - see how other countries treat ethnic, social, racial and cultrral minorities in their country. See how they treat their women and disabled.

Then come back - make a chart and compare the US to any other. We;re not at the top of the chart, but we far far away from the bottom.

Good luck!

Yes, our society, and all societies since the creation of man, are biased. Most people are uncomfortable with the unfamiliar, new people, new surroundings, new activities, new ideas. People tend to group together with like minded individuals thus creating the "insiders" and "outsiders". Eventually one group becomes more powerful than another, gains an edge over them and looks at them as inferior or just plain different. This can be defined as a bias, a bias toward your own and against "others". Life is not fair. No one ever said it was. It would be nice if it was, but since the first man and woman were created and made that terrible decision not to obey God we have all paid the price. The only way to overcome this is by being as fair minded as you possibly can, doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. It's Gods way of doing things.

Of course it's true that nothing is fair. For the laws of natural selection to function, it must be a universal truth that no two things are equal. Equality and fairness are purely social concepts. That's just the way life works.

Those who push the idea that "Life is unfair, so you should let us push you around and not whine about it" are lying rich slime. We outnumber them 100 to 1 and can crush them like grapes. That's unfair, but we must punish them according to this rule, with which they claim immunity from revolution, and wipe them and their seed off the face of the earth, indiscriminately and mercilessly. Those who rise to the top afterwards must be forbidden from taking this slogan's attitude. They will obey justice rather than privilege if we have given them a blood-soaked example of what will happen to them if they try to imitate our present aristocracy.

That's a very broad question. Do you mean the media, or society as a whole? And which society are you asking about?
