Doctors have told me to try and try again.. nothing medically is wrong with me. I am running out of time. Any suggestions on how I can increase my chances of becoming pregnant?

For those who say stop stressing? For the past 3 years I had no thoughts of getting pregnant though I was sexually active. I recently have started stressing but trust me prior to this I did not even think about it and never got pregnant. That is why I pose the question. I know I am not extra fertile? We have spoken about adopting if need be. But for the first time I am with someone I would want to experience this with wholeheartedly.

Are you charting your fertility cycles. Do you monitor your BBT, cervical fluids and cervical position. What doctors have you seen. If you are not charting, it could be as simple as poor timing. If you are charting than you need to be seeing a reproduction specialist, not just your family doctor. Do you know that that there is no reason because you and your partner have been totally examined for fertility issues?

Not sure this has helped with out more nformation, but if you have not started with charting than that isthe best way to do it.

I had 2 miscarriages like u and finally got pregnant at 37 and now proud mother of 2. doc did laparoscopy to unblock fallopian tube after a test showed one fallopian tube blocked (which is not visible thru vaginal scan). Is your doc patiently investigating all the possible causes of infertility with you else suggest you try another doc. At 44 must be fast cos age is also a factor. If all else fails, quickly consider IVF. All the best to you!

dont' stress. If you get anxious then you will be to tense to easily concieve. You have more thim then you realize. A 65 year old woman can now go on hormones to become fertile and have a baby! You have lots of time... it will come. And don't let other put you down. My aunt had her last child at 45. She started at 39

Everyone has given good advice. Another option to consider is having a surrogate go through the pregnancy. If you dont know much about that, try to search for it on yahoo. It's basicly someone who has your baby for you...and it's actually YOURS, not adopted. So thats an option to consider, but it is expensive... and you have to have a friend willing to go through pregnancy and labor for you. Good Luck with whatever you try to do.

stop stressing out about it. have you ever noticed that the majority of babies are concieved "on accident"?? that's b/c when you are constantly stressing out about it and trying super hard to get pregnant you actually change the way your body reacts to things and you can actually be causing yourself not to get pregnant. tell your biological clock to be quiet and let it happen naturally. if you are really concerned, then talk about it with your doctor. there are ways of artifically emplanting embryos into your utereus or using egg donors and all sorts of things. but if your doc believes that you are healthy, then stop stressing and let things happen naturally.

fertility declines dramatically after 40...its gona take longer ,you really have very little time left to go on,i think you should use some medical help to concieve, you should not wait to let it happen on its own and wate the precious years....otherwise keep trying and pray.

every women dream to become a mother. if you are not able to get pregnant than in my opinion you should adopt a baby. you really don't have to give birth to the baby to be a good mother.

Try acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, I got pregnant on those. You should also freeze your eggs in case of menopause.

try yoga, acupuncture and relaxing, the worst thing you can do is think about it all day and stress a lot because of that, you have to relax, set a different mood
