Do you think the judges picked the right people or did they go crazy. I can'tsee Marcel in the top two. All these weeks the judges have complained about his cooking being unimaginative and now he's one of the finalists.
what gives

I was upset about Sams elimination!
I've been a fan both seasons & have never missed an episode.
I also visit Bravos website & have read all the blogs & seen all the bonus videos.

Quite the TC Addict I am!

But you have to put things in perspective.
It is a reality show! That means it is anything BUT real!

Did you know that as a result of somebody taking the "show" WAY too seriously, Marcel was actually hit over the head with a bottle by some irate fan in Las Vegas last week & received 30 stitches?

Trust me, I couldn't stand his annoying ways all season long but IT"S A REALITY SHOW !!!!!!!
It is editted & portrayed MUCH differently than it really was!

To get a better persective, I'm going to give you a link.
The link below will give you actual interviews with each of the contestants as they were eliminated,
Since these interviews are NOT with Bravo......you'll get a MUCH truer idea as to what REALLY happens behind the scenes.

Go & listen to each interview & you'll see what I mean.
http://www.chow.com/stories/10424...

After gaining this perspective, I wouldn't miss the Finale.
I really don't care who wins.......
It's just entertainment!
& It Will Be Entertaining!!!!
Four previously eliminated chefs come back to assist in the Final Episode!
That's Right!!!!!
Sam
Elia
Betty
&
Michael ARE ALL THERE !

How Freaking Entertaining can that be?????????????
I can't wait!

By the way....if you listen real carefully ...to all the interviews ...I think you'll see that Marcel really DID cheat, earlier in the season & got some of his recipes & ingredients (which they were NOT allowed to bring with them) confiscated!
Also that the 'head shaving incident' did NOT happen the way it was portrayed on TV.
& Sam is not upset about his elimination.....It is just a TV show &
"This does not define who you are as a chef" quote from Michael to one of the 'booted' chefs.

So Get a grip, & watch the Finale!!!
You know you want to!!!!
LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL! It's NOT REAL!

I figured he would make it in though I was disgusted with the idea that being selfish in the kitchen means nothing to the judges. Marcel interferes with the other cooks, moving pots, bogarting burners, and turning down flames and so on. Admittedly it has nothing to do with the finished product but does have something to do with the other chefs being able to concentrate on their cooking. I think Elia was penalized there for the incident with Cliff and the razor. I also think Sam is a coward. He never stood up for anything he believed in including shaving his head and telling Marcel off. I think they let Marcel through in no small part because of that incident. They shouldn't have. They seemed to prefer Sam's food but then they voted the other way. Confusing.
I read someone else's answer and it is the complete opposite to mine so I will write this as well. Look at the stats. Elia won and Sam won more contests than Marcel. And jsut because i am a bit of a spolier.

Wikipedia has reported that Ilan won.

The rest of them are a bunch of sneeky jealous petty beeatches!

They deserved to go.

I think that Betty was the reason that Marcel became the bad guy because her lame *** never shut up, she bullied him and then turned it around onto him to make him out to be a bad guy and he really isin't.

He is a little man, with a lot of personality. I find him to be a bit annoying, but his talent is undeniable... He deserves it because he takes it up a notch every time. I think he has just started repeating the whole foam thing to piss off everyone else and to watch them all roll their eyes in discust like jealous children because not one of them can successfully make one!

The judges were right about everyone else.

Elan is a Spanish line cook and it shows... IN EVERYTHING.

Sam is blah and i do not understand how he expects to become a top chef when he is a diabetic...His palet is effected by what he can and cannot have.

Elia is a weirdo and a freak and her cooking is boring and predictable...She is a yes man that back tracks and punks out on her own morals and folds and shuts down when it gets too hard. She deserved to go home... Not everything goes well with olives for Christs sake!

At this point I believe in Marcel... I think that he has the most potential and is the most well rounded Chef. His plating is excuisite, he is creative, imaginative and after this show is over... I am certain that he will never make another foam ever again!

I hate it when people jump on the popular bandwagon and ignore the facts just to go with the crowd. Betty made everyone hate Marcel... and the rest of them who were supposedly neutral became monsters and as*sholes as soon as they saw him as a threat. It was all too easy!

For all of the above reasons and more... Morally and on talent alone, Marcel deserves to win! I hope that he does!

Confidence in a short man is often misconstrued and attacked by those who are of a lesser nature and understanding. He has to compensate for his height and what Betty did to him from the get go!

I can see Marcel in the top 2. He listened to the information when they were given the dinner in Hawaii. He took that and combined it with the research he had done when he was waiting for the finale. Marcel was really innovative. It was funny when Ilan tried to make fun of Marcel by making foam and could not execute it. I guess foam is not that easy to make, but marcel has it down to a science. He really did the challenge the best the other people made fusion cusine and not an homage to hawaiian cusine by bring in cooking styles they are very familiar with.

I hope Marcel wins.

I think Sam should not have been eliminated but I was in agreement with whats her name Elia? I think Marcel did well in the last competitiion so he was in. I think it was cheezy of the other chefs to complain about Marcel like that and unprofessional...even though he's an arrogant jerk.

I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one that hates that Marcel made it to the top 2. I cannot believe that he made it this far. The judge's always have bad things to say about his entrees. I cannot believe they choose him for the top two. I honestly think they're feeling bad for him since everyone is against him. I cannot stand Colicchio or the other lizard looking judge (Gail). As for Padma, she needs to get booted as host!! She annoys the HELL out of me!! I SWEAR I'm not watching the finale nor am I watching next season. TOP CHEF SUX!!!!!!

Sam and Elia were my favorites. Sam went out with class. Elia went out looking like a tattletale.

And wasn't Ilan the one who was cheating last night? He was still cooking after time was up.
