There are no "pros" or "cons", heredity and enviroment just "are". I find that heredity gives one all of their predispositions - the things they tend to gravitate toward, tend to favor, tend to like, tend to not like, etc. Those predispositions are then applied in the individual to the environment he finds himself in. Those experiences lead the individual to draw conclusions and make decisions, thus defining the person.
