I am not homeschooling but she wants to know. I am trying to use our simple reading books but I don't want to confuse her.

I think it is a little early for sentence structure. Diagramming sentences generally is in the curriculum in late elementary to middle school depending on where you live.

However, if you want to move forward with your little girl, I recommend you introduce her to the concepts of verbs, nouns, adjectives, and adverbs and discuss with her how and why they work in the language.

you could show her how sentences are written. tell her that there's a subject that tells who's doing something and a verb that tells what they're doing. the other words tell how it's being done or what the subject looks like. go to the link for some ideas. there are lots of things to do besides this.

At this point, I would say to keep it simple. Unless you know how they teach this in school, it may confuse her to learn one way now and another way at school. That's great that she wants to learn this!!! You can just start her in 2nd grade and let her skip kindergarten and 1st grade :)
