Is there a limit to what windows xp can reconize in Ram and Hardrive space, Regardless of what the motherboard can see? thanks:)

I would think if your MB could handle it, there is not a specific limit, but it's no good if MB can't see it. Also, you can set a specific amount of RAM to use, but it only goes up so high. I'm not sure what the specific number is, But I would think having too much RAM would slow down your system.

Currently, the limit for RAM for XP is 4gb. But remember that your motherboard has to be able to support this amount.
XP will recognize any size of hard drive basically. I don't know of any limitations in size. It also depends on your motherboard. Some of the older boards still have the 8.4 gb limit.

Increase ur RAM M/B can't see.
