A system like that is for people that have that money to spend. If you're into gaming and need a high end unit like that then more power to you. But it high end PCs are your thing I suggest one of two things 1) Learn a little more about PCs and build one yourself. You'll find the parts cheaper and it's not nearly as hard to put together as you would think. 2) Go to a computer store around you that builds them. They'll still build you a kick butt unit that will be cheaper then Alienware.

Of course not, Alienware's are WAY overpriced\overrated. You can build a PC yourself for half the price with the same specs.

I agree with the other poster that they are over priced. If you are tech savvy you can build one for much less yourself. Besides Dell bought Alienware last year. See the following link:

Only if you are a heavy gamer or a multimedia fanatic. But if you have the money, i would say they're overall good.

They are brought in by space ship / flying saucer so they should be :-)
Always check them for strange alien eggs or hatchlings before you accept delivery.

i have used one and they are great for gaming. if that is not your passion then your money is better spent elsewhere.
