As long as this *birth* took place within our solar system -- on a space ship, space station or other planet within the solar system -- the method of calculating a nativity is called *Heliocentric Astrology,* birth sign thus being the position of the EARTH!!! (which is always opposite to the sun).

Thus if someone were born TODAY / Right NOW on a space ship, space station or the MOON, MARS etc. they would be born at 5+ degree in the sign of LEO (opposite to geocentric Aquarius).

Everyone's Heliocentric sign is exactly opposite the geocentric sign, but the faster moving planets are usually in other signs than in the geocentric nativity. There is NO retrograde motion and all aspects are possible; i.e. Venus opposition Mercury!

There are Heliocentric Ephemeriden and all better Astrological Computer Programs include a Heliocentric calculation -- in the not-so-distant future this will be the case!!

The Zodiac lines are acutally layed out in our Solar System, so given that you could see be aware of the date/time on earth - your zodiac sign wouldn't necessarily change. Unless you are on a cusp!
