Maybe his dad would feel awkward about all those women, because a 2 year old cannot discern anything wrong with Hooters. However, Dave & Busters is a more sensible option for a child's birthday.

HI, I am a former Hooter's Girl. No, it is not bad. I worked there for several years about 6 years ago. It is a regular restaurant but all of the girls have a uniform. The orange shorts, panty hose, & tanks w/sneakers. Before I worked there I never ate there. After I worked there I realized lots of families come in there. They even sold 2 infant hooter's onesie outfits when I worked there. I bought one for my nephew. Lots of girls come in there too with their boyfriends or husbands. No big deal at all. We sold chicken wings, sandwiches, curly fries & beer. Only difference was the name & obviously all of us waitresses were girls. We had plenty of booster seats. I think many people think along the same lines as your son's dad. It is just a restaurant.

I would say probably not wrong to do so since I do not consider Hooters girls outfits to even be mildly sexual. How they became successful is beyond me. The new casino in Las Vegas is failing and will be sold- who ever designed their outfits must be living in a time warp very unfashionable.

Your son is too young to understand. If he likes hot wings and sports it is fine. My four year old son has been to Hooters many times. I think it is fine if he behaves properly. Trust me it will not damage him.

At 2 I doubt he'd remember it, but is it bad? Yea, only because the food isn't very good.
