You answered an web site with your email address. That is for sure what has happened. Now the address was "harvested" and you got problems with it. Take out a new address. Trust no one and fill out nothing on the net with that address. Yahoo is a snooper and so are most other email providers.
You can also help yourself with a change of your IP address. Go to HELP and follow the directions on that for your computer.
Download or buy anti spy and activate it. I use a simple free SpyBot that is working well. Plus I use AVG antivirus which is also free instead of that pay for McAfee or Norton which are no better. Also make sure your Firewall is activated and updated if you are using Windows NT or 2000. because without that the spyer can overtake your computer and use it for you.
