Hi

Ok first , you dont need to clean it , as a matter of fact is better OFF IT , at least i have my 3 pcs like that , then to over clock now its no good , most motherboards are jumperless so overclocking sometimes is not good , just get a sysboard with the compability of the new cpu

Thermal paste isn't "mandatory" notwithstanding that's truly recommened. Your processor will run a lot too warm without it, which shortens its existence. i might want to say you've some thing else incorrect consisting of your computer, and for this reason that's no longer booting. I wager you that's the memory. verify its specs to work out in the adventure that they tournament your motherboard, and verify to work out in the adventure that they are damaged. also verify the GPU. I had an same difficulty without photo on the exhibit screen, and it became out to be the memory. The clock speeds mandatory to be reset. =) strong success!

ere @ work I use these Chemtronics Chem Pads that are for cleaning up electronics. They kinda remind me of Baby wipes in individual packets. We also use a lead based silicone compound for the paste. I think it comes with the CPU's.
