i think it takes a very very bad day for federer and a really really good day for his opponent.

i only watch tennis for andy, and during the match against federer, it was so frustrating because, you're right, the first set, andy played great.
Andy played well cause he did everything he practiced, he came to the net and played offensively, and served great.
It's just federer is, i don't even know how to describe him, and i refuse to call him a machine.

to me, i think the only way federer will stop winning so much is if he has a critical injury, or if he has an early retirement, which i don't see happening anytime in atleast the next five years. He's still very young.
I know it's mean, but i hope he has some sort of injury so that he can start letting the other players have a chance. It's crazy how i'm saying this because federer deserves what he wins. But, i hate that even the second best player in the world has a slim chance of beating him.

It definitely is a hard time to be a pro tennis player right now. No matter what, it's nearly impossible to be number one.

Roddick is a champion, but Federer is in a completely different league. I don't think Roddick, or any other players for that matter, have the capacity to challenge Federer at his best. Nadal may have beaten Federer at the French Open last year, but this year Federer will tear him apart if he plays his best tennis. On Roddick, he got to world number one about 4-5 years ago, but lets face it, he has no chance of getting back there whilst Federer is playing tennis, so he will have to settle for second best.

Federer is a genius, so it's pretty difficult to beat him unless you can get inside his mind in the way that Nadal has. Otherwise you need to play the best match of your life and hope that Federer's having an off-day.

Oh, yeah, Federer played soooooo good. I don't know how to find a way to beat him. I think that no one can beat Federer in this time. It's hard to believe, but that's just the truth! He plays so awesome!

i think of that at this 2d, he remains interior the "2d way" which you describe. that's going to take a minimum of a few days to recover from the heartbreak of dropping one among those close and complicated-fought Wimbledon very final. yet, ultimately, he gets to the "first way" which you describe. Andy Roddick is a confident guy. he's an spectacular athlete. he's been around a techniques too long, worked too complicated and fought too lots to enable this loss get him down. i think of he will see the "vivid area" of his loss ultimately. with a bit of luck in the subsequent month and a nil.5 so he can placed up a stable combat on the U. S. Open. :D

Beating Federer... Hmm, nothing is impossible but this definately looks like it. I'd say the better tactics could be: Being on a really good day,and hoping that Fed is on a really bad day.... Still, chances would be slim, even if you played your better tennis... on a clay court.
