Your mothers! Why did she leave knowing you had exams and not take you with her? Sounds like Mom may be a bit scatterbrained. When all has calmed down go talk to your Grandmother and tell her your side, so many times Grandparents don't get all the facts from the parents.

Why didnt you walk to school, if it only takes 5 minutes to drive there its not a far walk. I see kids walking to their schools up here all the time and I live in ND where there is 14 inchs of snow on the ground and windchills as low as -40. I think its your fault you should have walked if you were so concerned you'd have missed your exams.

And dont EVER say you hate your parents because you could lose them tomorrow and those words "i hate" will haunt you for a life time!

It's your fault. You have two good legs darlin and you knew you had an exam! A five minute walk? That would be enough to warm you up and get you to your exam that you knew you had to do. Take responsibility for your own education and your own actions. You made the mistake of depending on others for your responsibilities. Others do not walk for you nor can they do your exams for you and to put them in a position of that kind is setting them up for failure. It isn't the fault of others that your apathy led to a missed exam. Own your own mistakes, do not lend them out to others.

It wasn't anyone's fault, but you could've walked. I realize that if you're 5 minutes away from school and you're in a vehicle, it becomes 2 minutes. And if you're walking, it becomes 10 or 15. Personally, I would've walked. That way, you wouldn't have missed your exam, and everyone wouldn't be mad at you.

P.S. Don't ever say you hate your parents. What if something bad happens to them? You'll remember saying, "I hate my parents!", and it will make you feel awful. Right now, you're angry at your parents, but you still love them.
