I'm not familiar with that company, but there are several companies that manufacture energy-efficient light bulbs. They are florescent, but screw into the same socket and use only about ¼ the power as the conventional incandescent bulb. They cost more than an incandescent bulb but last much longer. The only problem is that some florescent lamps emit a bluish color spectrum, so try different kinds until you find one that is pleasing to your eye.

They only save the environment, not your money. The energy saving light bulbs cost much more than incandescent light bulbs. Yes, they last much longer, but because they last so long, the money you save over the life of the bulb, is not seen as a savings on your electric bill. (Believe me, I've tried to find the savings!) The energy saving bulbs emit much less carbon than incandescents and that is the main reason they were made. If we don't do something about carbon emissions from every source, the depleting ozone will have us burning up before we know it! And by that point, it won't matter how much heat the incandescents give off.
