In many places in the Western world it is perfectly legal for cousins to marry. I don't think the frequency is any higher for Jews compared to non Jews. I have a friend whose sister married their first cousin but that's the only example I personally know from my generation.

Throughout the whole of human history I have never know a people who dont marry there cousins.
Why emphsis the Jews?
