Mine is here and my husband is out of town until tomorrow evening - am I out of luck?

Well that depends on your body. The 'egg-white' mucus can show up as much as 3 days in advance, but for some, it could easily be the day of. The best situation would be to make sure that you are sexually active now and for the next 3 days, but all you can do is hope that this is just the onset. Unfortunately unless you ave another sperm donor (just kidding) waiting in the winds, there really isn't much you can do except wait til he comes home.
Good luck, lets hope that your most fertile day is not for another couple of days and that it is a success.

I agree, I think it's around 12 to 24 hours, it all depends on your body. But I read that there is a chance right after, they call it the low fertile stage. Good Luck!!!
