Try using canned air to remove any dust accumulated on the fan blades.
An unbalanced weight on the blades due to the dust may be causing the noise.
Overheating often compromises the viscosity of the oil that lubricates the bearings in the fan ... this leads to more friction & hence also more noise. In this case you would need to replace the fan.

EEEEeeeek!! Laptops will QUICKLY burn up (overheat) if the fans stop functioning properly.
First thing I'd try...
While the computer is off, take a can-o-air (pressurized air sold just for the purpose of cleaning delicate electrical components (<$5/can)) and ensure that there is no dust on the fan blades. See if that clears some of your issues up.
Secondly,
I've taken my laptop apart many times, without issues. However, it is a task that should only be done with confidence. If you're not mechanically minded, or good with small parts...don't attempt. On my Dell Inspiron 8200, the fans are easy to get at, however, I'm uncertain about other brands/models.
Lastly,
If you take it to a repair shop, perhaps get a quote to clean and/or check the performance of the fan blades. Then, you know what price to expect. Some shops even offer FREE diagnostic work. If so, tell them you want NO work done except for the free diagnostics. Then, have a firm quote for the repair.
Hope this helps,
Trevor

It is probably making a lot of noise due to either vibration from being loose, or vibration due to it spinning uneven from dust build up, opening your case and giving it a good clean using compressed air, which can be bought from most computer shops/stationers is always a bonus, cleaning all areas at the same time. Check to see if it is loose and tighten as necessary. Another option is to buy another fan, most good computer shops sell them, they are relatively cheap and are very easy to install. Usually four small locating screws and an electrical connector

in case your pcs fan is basically too loud that your computer is over heating. you are able to't turn off the fan, reason your pc receives truly warm, and crash and wont change on ever again, except you pick to spend 2 hundred+ on a clean motherboard on your computer and installation. be particular you keep your computer on a flat floor and open so the computer can breath and suck the cool air in. It also enables to get a computer stand, or a computer cooling fan stand.
