Libs want a government program that employs state workers to take fish from people who caught them and hand them over to people who don't fish and don't know how to fish, and they want it paid for by people who can and do catch their own fish, and they want it to work so that the more fish you catch, the greater percentage of your catch is taken.

This "lib" agrees with it completely. That's why everyone deserves equal access to education.
And I thought the saying was, "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you'll never see him on the weekend again." :)

I love it. The problem that arises is that if you don't "give a man to fish" while you "teach a man to fish", he may starve before he can fish on his own.
I support welfare with time limits. Welfare should be TEMPORARY assistance to help people out, not lifelong entitlements.

Completely true that's why liberals always fight for education instead of suppressing it! That's why democrats prefer funding schools instead of giving tax breaks to the wealthy.
