Im pretty top heavy. Ive finally lost 50 lbs and i look great, but the girls have gone south a bit since the weight loss. They are still 36/D. My problem, for the first time in my life I can fit in my 7/8 backless halter mardi gras gown this year, but i need to figure out how to get the girls up. I cant wear a bra. I was wondering about tape, but I dont know HOW to tape them. Like where to put the tape and stuff (under, side, all over??) Also what kind of tape to use. Please dont mention anything at victorias secret, ive been down that road. Didnt work. They are too big for anything theyve got. And i cant really sew a bra in there cuz its got a deep v cut as well and a bra would show. Any advice?

I can do 4000 pushups a day and not get them where they were. I have good muscle tone in my chest. You cant tone breast tissue. Its fat and loose skin. A surgical lift is the only option for a permanant fix. They sag. I want to tape them to be perky for 5 hours.

Surgical tape is the best to use - its that white cloth tape that is next to the bandages at the drug store. Some use duct tape, byt it hurts quite a bit to peel off and can give unnatural body lines. To use tape, hold your breasts where you would like them to be and then tape them securely underneath (It's much much easier if you have a friend helping you), extending it as far over to the sides as you can without it showing (you can use double sided tape to keep the sides of the halter where you want it so the tape never peeks out). To give yourself some cleavage, tape the sides in as much as you want the girls to be smooshed together (hey, its Mardi Gras, so go nuts!). You can also try taping them in a u shape, or like an upside down charity ribbon, depending on the effect you desire.
There are also adhesive bra cups. Look for one built with underwire for extra support, and make sure you choose a style with large adhesive tapes. With good tapes, adhesive bras should hold for up to 12 hours, even for laides with larger cup sizes or those who plan to spend their night out on the dance floor. Remember to apply your adhesive strips to clean, dry skin, preferably swabbed with rubbing alcohol to remove any body oils or residual lotion. You should tape a U shape around their breasts, and make sure the tapes cover the entire bottom half of the cup. Women with larger cup sizes should consider using two tapes per breast. Adhesive bras made entirely of tape are an alternative for women in search of barely there support.
Fredericks of Hollywood makes one called the Stay Kup (http://www.fredericks.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Holiday2002&category%5Fname=Accessories%2DBody+Enhancers&product%5Fid=51198). They are individual cups so theres no sign of them in the halter plunge line, and are available in a D cup. I would use it with tape for extra staying power since your probably going to be very active, jumping around, getting hot, and splashed with drinks a lot at Mardi Gras.
Have fun, and congrats of the weight loss!

Way to go on dropping the Lb's! There are bras that work with backless dresses. Take your dress with you to Fredericks and see if they have one that will work. Those bras DO exist and you won't have to put tape on your girls!

I had a "backless" bra with my dress. It is a bustier in front, but the closure is very low in the back. Those adhesive things have never worked for me. They are cheap tho, and you could buy a pair and wear them all day to see.

Hi, I wear a 36C and I've lifted them and squished them together and wrapped the 3 - 3 1/2 inch silver tape (duct tape) all in one piece from the side of my lower girl across the front and to the other side. You don't want to appear lumpy...so try practicing. I don't recall the removal being all that bad either.

Did u consider the natural cup thing that u place inside the top of the dress?
Its not a bra, has no straps, and holds "the girls" in place....
Any lingerie store or garment shop carries them...
I can feel ur painbecause I am top heavy as well, and I cant stand not wearing a bra, or I wouldn't even think of not wearing one, so good luck to you and I hope I helped.....
Oh and congratulations on your weight loss!!!!!!!

start working out the pectoral (sp) area and
look in the lingerie dept of any of the finer dept stores
Wal Mart has a small selection of products one can use in place of bras , straps etc.
if all fails try surgical supplies (wraps, tape ,, hey its a thought)
PS I agree with trying Fredericks of Hollywood, go on line and have a look,
