Yo, Vinnie, don't let your "business associate" use your car when he wants to dump his hit. Ba-da-boom, ba-da-bing. Fah gid abahdit.

You can buy upholstery cleaner. I used to work in a detail shop. We scrubbed the interiors of plenty of cars. After you do this leave the doors and the trunk open for as long as possible. Make sure both are completely dry before closing everything up. They spray with some type of air freshener.

I agree with Fabreeze. Make sure you get it on all the upolstery.
Also, I had an odor problem in a car a few years ago becaus of something I ran over. It actually looked like a sack of dried blood (used in gardening) but smelled a lot worse. If you have not done so already, get a good underbody wash, too. Finally, you may have to remove the seats and look for a dead mouse or some other small creature that may have expired in there.

If you are able too. Than use some good upholstery cleaner, I know they make some for cars, sorry I don't know any names. Leave all the windows open or doors, and let it air out. Afterwards Febreeze the seats. And put a nice air freshener. If it does not work. Take it to a dealer, and see if they can get the smell out.

First find the source of the bad smell. You've obviously overlooked something. I used my brothers Jeep one time and it smelled really bad and we couldn't find anything. About a month later, bad smell and all, he discovered a piece of LJS fish in a side pocket he had overlooked.
Febreeze helps a little but it's only temporary.

Fabreeze works, and if all else fails once you find the source of the odor, get a spray bottle with a mixture of water and vinegar more water than vinegar. SPRINKLE baking soda over the spot and let it dry completely. then vacuum out .
