All I can find in the ds lite is black, white, & coral. I have an original ds in red, but want the lite because the screens are brighter, & easier to see.

No, right now Nintendo does not have the DS Lite in red. I have an original DS and I agree that the DS Lite is better in most respects, but unless you have the money, or your DS is in bad condition, then you don't really need to get one.

P.S. There are skins that you can get to put on the DS Lite though to customize how ever you want.
