Those who have filed or created exploratory committees are:

Sam Brownback (KS)
Jim Gilmore (VA)
Rudy Giuliani (NY)
Duncan Hunter (CA)
John McCain (AZ)
Ron Paul (TX)
Mitt Romney (MA)
Tom Tancredo (CO)
Tommy Thompson (WI)

It's a pretty motley crew with not much leadership sense among the lot of them. I like Thompson but he doesn't have the presence to be a president. The only one I can thoroughly support behind right now is Tancredo but I can't see him winning on a national stage either.

Bill Richardson is a Democrat.

Hopefully not John Mccain, they showed him on the State of the Union speech in the audience and one camera caught him blinking with one eye uncontrollably, and at other time ,the camera caught him actually sleeping during the speech, along with other Republicans and maybe some Dems also. The speech was only an hour ,so i can't believe these guys could not stay awake for the "State of the Union Speech". unbelievable.
