It seems that at any job I've had, everyone is complaining about how crazy hard they have to work to stay on top of things. I spend a lot of my day on the internet but am always considered a top producer. Am I that much better than them or are they lying about how hard they're working?

Maybe you are a top producer. You will be surprised how organizational skills will limit the effort of performing many task. The unorganized will work themselves ragged to do the same task. Also, many people put on the image as working hard when they actually are not.

Javier not everyone is as gifted as you and I :-)

Some actually have to make an effort to achieve their tasks while you and I breeze by with little or no effort. In my case it means I get twice as much done. Sounds like in your case it means you do what you have to do then stop!

Some people just have to work harder to get the quality of work they want or is expected of them. Also there are people who are complete perfectionists and are willing to spend hours to do their work to their own personal standards. You're just a lucky one I guess!

I have never met anyone who says that they don't work hard enough or that they are making too much money. It is just human nature.
