how much gas in my truck do i need?

how do i do the math to figure out how much gas it will take to travel 1408 miles with 35 gallon truck that gets only 8 miles per gallon, if gas is at 2.30. i would like to know the math you did to figure it out, thanks.

1408 divided by 8 = number of gallons for trip
This sum divided by 35 = how many tanks of gas
number of gallons multiplied by 2.30 = cost of trip

i guess you need about 176 gallons
