We cannot really do anything about this matter. And corruption is not peculiar to India. Almost all nations suffer from it. This is because of human nature. Most humans do what naturally come to them, mostly things which are bad, like telling lies, committing adultery (look what a President of a country has done recently). Corruption is one such instinct which desires to get ahead of another person. Moreover India has a large population whose needs are large but whose resources and opportunities are too meagre. When I was young, I studied Motor Vehicles Act thoroughly for getting a Driving Licence because I was resolved not pay any bribe to an RTO agent. And I got the Driving Licence without paying a bribe. Now I have grown old and wise. Today I will prefer only to take the easy route, that is, to pay bribe to RTO agent. That does not mean I advocate corruption.

1) Refuse to pay money to grease any body's hands.
2) Do not yourself seek to do any thing illegally. Be on the right side of law.
3) Create forums to oversee that the authorities are doing the right things and that there are no consideration demanded or paid for doing the rightful things.
4) Create awareness about the need to cleanse our system free from corrupt practises. There should be public awareness about it. Whenever any wrong doing comes to light, people should not hesitate to agitate. Such movements should be organised in every village/town/cities.
5) A total revolution is the need of the hour.

Let every individual take the lead, not to bribe. It should start from home. The corruption peculates from the top. So it is beyond our reach to correct the top. The punishment for the corrupt must be sever and immediate. We have forgotten Commonwealth Games corruption, Medical college corruption and will forget 2 G auction.
